The work
Rameez built the mechanical and electrical team behind the system: 1.5 kV high-voltage interconnects, low-voltage electronics, PCBA, harness integration and the grid-connect interfaces that tie a battery system to the grid. From there he led the design and launch of three generations of pack architecture, Alpha 1, 2 and 3, improving cost by 30% and cutting field deployment time. Every iteration ran across hardware, firmware, site controls, embedded and product architecture at once, so each architecture decision had to hold up for all of those teams at the same time.
When a field failure needed answers, he was selected to lead the investigation: an 8D root-cause effort that re-architected electrical isolation for hydrogen explosive environments inside the battery cells, reported to the executive team daily until it closed. Alongside the programs he mentored the team on simulation, electro-mechanical design and roadmap planning, pushing for shorter EVT, DVT and PVT cycles rather than longer ones.
